Bundi town nestles in a narrow valley, enclosed by huge walls and fortified by four gateways.

The entrancing lad of palaces, stunning step wells or baoris and miniature paintings seems frozen in time. Bundi also claims stake on the foundations of an authentic school of miniature paintings.

Kesar Bagh

This could also be called the garden of cenotaphs. The ancient garden has 66 royal cenotaphs with rich architectural grandeur.

Among the 66 cenotaphs, the one built by Rao Anirudh in the memory of his foster brother will definitely catch your attention.

The 84 pillared cenotaphs dating back to the 17th century A.D with a Shivling is absolutely an architectural marvel. Besides, you could also see the Chattar Mahal, Zenana Mahal or a palace for the queens, adorned with paintings.
